Privacy, by design.
The short version: no accounts, no tracking, no selling data. Your invites live on your device — we only host the RSVP page and the replies you collect.

This policy explains what Bellafête (“we”, “us”) collects, why, and what you can do about it. We’ve tried to keep it plain. If anything is unclear, email [email protected].
What we don’t do
- We don’t require an account — for hosts or guests.
- We don’t ask for your contacts, and we never upload your address book.
- We don’t use third-party advertising or analytics trackers, and we don’t sell or rent personal data.
Information you provide
Invites you create. The invitations you design — including any photos you add — are stored on your device. When you publish an invite, the content needed to display it is sent to our servers so we can render the public RSVP page at its link. Nothing more is shared.
RSVP replies. When a guest responds, we store what they enter — typically a name, an attendance choice, a plus-one count, and answers to any custom questions you added — so we can show you the results. Guests choose what to type; we don’t ask for accounts, emails, or logins from them.
Information collected automatically
To keep the service running and secure, our servers and reverse proxy record standard technical logs — such as IP address, request time, and user-agent — and we apply basic rate-limiting and anti-spam measures (including a hidden honeypot field on the RSVP form). These logs are retained only as long as needed for security and reliability.
How we use information
- To display your invitation and collect the RSVPs you asked for.
- To generate link previews and calendar files for an invite.
- To protect the service against abuse, spam, and fraud.
Sharing
We don’t sell personal data. We share information only with the infrastructure providers that host the service, and only as needed to operate it — or where the law requires it.
Your choices
Because invites live on your device, you control them directly: edit or delete an invite to remove it. To unpublish a public RSVP page or request deletion of the replies it gathered, email [email protected] and we’ll take care of it.
Children
Bellafête isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect personal data from them.
Changes
If we update this policy, we’ll revise the date above. Significant changes will be highlighted in the app or on this page.
