Terms

Terms & conditions.

These terms are the agreement between you and Bellafête when you create, share, or upgrade an invitation. We’ve kept them plain — please read them before you use the service.

Last updated July 2026

By using Bellafête (the app, the website, and the invitations and pages we host for you) you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service. Questions? Email [email protected].

What Bellafête is

Bellafête lets you design invitations and event pages, share them, and collect RSVPs and other guest responses. You can use it for free, or unlock paid features for a one-time charge per event. No account is required to create or reply to an invitation.

Your content

Everything you add — event details, photos, guest lists, wording — stays yours. You give us only the limited permission needed to host, display, and deliver your invitation and its pages to the guests you share them with. You’re responsible for having the right to use anything you upload, and for the accuracy of what you publish.

Using it fairly

Please don’t use Bellafête to:

  • break the law, or invite others to;
  • post content that is hateful, harassing, deceptive, or infringes someone else’s rights;
  • send spam or upload malware;
  • probe, scrape, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, or resell it as your own.

Free invites and the Bellafête mark

On the free tier, a small “Made with Bellafête” credit appears on your invitation. Upgrading an event removes it and unlocks that tier’s features for that event.

Purchases and billing

Paid upgrades are one-time charges for a single event, priced in the app and on the site before you pay. Our payments and receipts are handled by Paddle, our reseller and merchant of record; your purchase is also subject to Paddle’s buyer terms. Prices include applicable taxes where required. For anything about a charge, refunds included, see our Refund policy.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Bellafête running and your invitations reachable, but we can’t promise the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change, or retire features over time. If we make a material change to these terms, we’ll update the date above and flag it in the app or on this page.

The legal part

Bellafête is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. We’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything beyond the amount you paid us for the event in question. Nothing here limits rights you have that can’t be waived under the law that applies to you — including your statutory consumer rights.
